Alice Turner is a concert pianist, music director and award-winning accompanist, specialising in art song, lieder and chamber music.

Alice Turner - pianist of Adelina EnsembleAs a pianist she has performed recitals with some of the leading musicians of her generation, including tenor Andrew Staples, baritones Benedict Nelson, Gary Griffiths and Duncan Rock, sopranos Elizabeth Llewellyn and Claire Debono, mezzo-soprano Rebecca Afonwy-Jones and pianist Malcolm Martineau.

As a music director, she has directed the UK premiere of Jake Heggie’s For a Look or a Touch (London, 2011) and in 2014 she was artistic director of the Paxos Music Festival.

She is a Samling Artist, resident staff accompanist at Oxenfoord International Summer School and performs regularly across the UK, including recent concerts at: Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, Sage in Gateshead, St James, Piccadilly, St Martin in the Fields and the Welsh Millennium Centre, Cardiff.
